Neveah Limited is a lading commodities trading company located in Abuja, Nigeria which deals in Base Metals, Minor Metals and Agro Commodities.

Job Title: Fleet Officer
Location: Jos, Plateau

Job Responsibilities
- Assists in providing oversight and management to the Logistics department.
- Implements operational plans, enforce policy changes and initiatives to support strategic plan and service delivery.
- Assists Fleet Operations Manager in monitoring and developing budgets to ensure adequate funding is present for emerging technologies, shop tools and equipment, infrastructure upgrades, and other operational costs.
- Effective and efficient use of budgeted funds, personnel, equipment, etc.
- Support the Logistics Manger in developing a transportation Plan, Route Plan and Vehicle Load Plan
- Assists in resource forecasting and allocation, performance metrics and management, and employee engagement.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement strategies.
- Ensure efficient, safe, and effective operation of all vehicle assets.
- Source and maintain relationships with relevant vendors to support mapping and tracking of all inputs to the vehicles (fuel, oil, spare parts etc) in real-time and provide drivers with timely information about where to stop along their routes.
- Support in managing the maintenance plan for the company’s fleet of vehicles, adopt preventive and corrective maintenance priorities, ensures effective implementation, and evaluates outcomes.
- Ensure that all loading/offloading of the deliveries are done effectively and on time with zero damage to the vehicles
- Driver Monitoring and Management: use telematics systems to track drivers’ on-road behaviour; Monitor and train drivers on all local, state, and federal restrictions
- Keep proper accounting records of all transactions and expenses in the Department
- Regulatory Compliance: monitor safety, environmental, and operational laws and regulations to ensure compliance; stay informed of new developments, legislation, best practices, and ideas that would affect fleet maintenance operations, register and licence vehicles and maintain a vehicle inspection report
- Assist the Fleet Manager in sourcing contracts, agreements and negotiation with third parties and/or vendors.
Educational Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- B.Sc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years’ work experience as a Fleet Officer.
- Work expereince with an Export Company will be an added advantage.
- Available to resume as soon as possible.
